Ja nyt niitä kuvia, kun ei ole aikaa kirjoittaa. Meille kävi vähän köpelösti ja kamera jäi Ouluun, joten nämä kuvat on otettu puhelimella... Kun kerran niitä kuvia tuli luvattua, niin onpa jotain vaikkakin niin huonolaatuisia ja kummallisen hohtavia.

Olemme alkaneet käydä Foxyn kanssa pidemmillä lenkeillä ja se pysyy hyvin mukana eikä tassu enää näytä olevan kipeä. Kerta kerralta se uskaltautuu tutkimaan kauemmas, mutta luoksetulo on edelleen vahvasti hallussa. Saa nähdä milloin tutkimusretkeilijä yrittää itsenäistyä toden teolla...

Naapurin lapset kävivät tänään tervehtimässä. Toinen pojista innostui luonnehtimaan tuttavaperheen koiraa niin että haukahti muutaman kerran ja Foxy oli heti juosta sisälle! Pyysin sitten poikaa haukahtelemaan enemmän ja kutsuin Foxin luokse, vaikka se tulikin vastentahtoisesti. Sitten silittelin poikaa, kun se edelleen haukahteli, oli se vähän jännää. Lenkillä haukahtelin sille itsekin ja se selvästi säikkyy sitä. Onhan luonnollista, että se etsii suojaa isomman koiran haukkuessa tai uhatessa sitä, muttei se saisi noin arkaillakaan. Meidän Opakaan kun ei oikein hauku, silloin tällöin vain kerran, kun pihalta kuuluu jotain.

These pictures have been taken with a mobile, because we forgot our camera to Oulu and some other things too, as I found out, for example my favourite shoes... :(

Now that the paw has gotten better, we have started to make longer trips in the forest. Foxy goes without a leash, she comes quickly when called. Practice in a leash gets better with big leaps, she has a very good eye contact already. Well, she knows what she gets for it... I think she eats about a desilitre extra per day because of all the treats...!!! But what else can I do, the girl walking soooo nicely beside me? Well, we try to compensate it by giving less at dinner times, we woudn't want her to get fat, now would we?

Kids from the neighbourhood came to visit us today, it's been a while from the last time. Foxy likes them a lot, though one can easily recocgnize those kids who do not have their own dog or who haven't had any dog contacts at all. Another one of the boys made some imitations of a dog he knows and barked a few times. This scared Foxy so much she flew to the door and came back only very reluctantly. I asked the boy bark a little more, kept Foxy close and patted him so that she would notice it's no bad guy... :) She's still scared of barking. I even tried it myself in the forest, which made her confused and she whined a little. Well, I suppose eventually she will learn out of it, there's no place without barking dogs.
