Rommi KoiraNetissä

Rommi tuli meille 21.4.2008 Se ei voinut jäädä ensimmäiseen kotiinsa, joten me päätimme tarjota sille uuden kodin.

Rommin isä on Ulvomäen Ukkopekka eli Arttu jonka kotisivuilla voit pistäytyä täältä. Samoilla sivuilla esiintyy myös Rommin isoäiti äidin puolelta, Jyvämäen Unicorn eli Ulpu. :)

Rommi came to us spring 2008. He was 15 months at the time. His previous owner couldn't have him anymore, so we took him to complete our gang. ;) (However I suggest people to think twice before taking an adult, untrained dog to their house... we should have thought thrice :P) He has the most friendliest character and looks; "Hey, I'm your buddy!" - would be his motto if he had one. He's quite a wild case though and needs a coherent and strong leader, otherwise he will try to be the leader himself. He is like I think a parson russel terrier male of this age (and without too much limits) ought to be and he has tought as a lot more about this wonderful breed and given us reason to love it even more. Rommi and Foxy are like a day and a night (I'd want to say Foxy's the day and Rommi's the night - but I won't :D), completely different what comes to their nature and also the looks.

Rommi is about 6-7cm higher than a standard male parson, his coat would be called rough though it's actually woolly fluffy. We have managed to get it slightly better by trimming him thoroughly, it's awful lot of work... He will never be a show dog as you might guess, but Esa has already started training agility with him. All that energy and wit channeled into the right direction will make him a superb dog to work with. He has also proven having abilities for ground working  with his nose and he picks anything you can imagine him to carry. So it's really just giving him something to do and he will. :) Luckily he has learned to settle down too; sleeps when there's time for it. I'm sure he will keep his place in this family and prove to be a perfect little big parson.
